The Goddess In Our Midst
Woman's Belly Is Sacred, Not Shameful

Contemporary culture shames woman's belly. But in myth, ritual, and sacred image, woman's belly is a goddess. She personifies every woman's power to promote creation.

Through time and across the globe, many cultures have honored woman's belly as kin to the Power of Being that creates, sustains, and regenerates the world. Women on every continent have used dance, healing rites, and spiritual practice to develop and focus our pro-creative power.

In this interactive workshop, you'll learn energizing breathing patterns and dynamic yoga moves that lead you to the magnificent wisdom and power concentrated in your body's center.

You'll take home with you a power-centering practice that you can use to boost your energy, magnify your confidence, and connect to the soul-power that your belly shelters.

Lisa Sarasohn draws on more than 20 years' experience guiding women to love our bodies and ourselves. Certified as a Kripalu Yoga teacher at the advanced level, she has created the Honoring Your Belly project and The Woman's Belly Book as ways to support women in claiming and cultivating our creative power.
