Got tummy troubles?

Many of us do. And why not? Your belly's all about survival — yours and ours.

Your belly's key to your own health and humankind's well-being because it equips you to take in food, stay alive, and create new life.

Sex, menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth, menopause.

Eating behaviors, food allergies, stomach aches, constipation.

How you nourish yourself, how you cope with loss and letting go, how your express your creativity.

Core vitality, core issues — so much of your life in a woman's body revolves around your belly.

Join Lisa for this warm and friendly introduction to creating a healing relationship with your belly.

You'll take home a deeper awareness of and appreciation for your body's center, and at least one new skill for enhancing your health in many dimensions.

Lisa Sarasohn
A seasoned health educator, peer counselor, and yoga and bodywork therapist, Lisa inspires and guides women in making peace with their bodies and their bellies.

She says "I've had a passion for sharing the good news about women's bellies — sacred, not shameful! — for nearly twenty-five years, and that passion is still going strong."

An award-winning poet, essayist, and artist, Lisa's author of The Woman's Belly Book: Finding Your True Center for More Energy, Confidence, and Pleasure. Dr. Christiane Northrup, author of Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom, says of this book: "To create health, you have to trust your gut. And to trust your gut, you've got to reclaim the wisdom of your belly. The Woman's Belly Book shows you how."

Through women's health expert Susun Weed's Wise Woman University, she leads highly interactive online courses including From Belly Distress to Belly Health: Healing into Wholeness.

This event is a benefit for Jubilee! Community — an inclusive, vital, and creative community of faith.
