be contributing a gift of story to each of the Sunday morning services, an excerpt
from the concluding chapter of The Woman's Belly
Book. "Beyond
the Mirror" tells the ancient Greek tale of Demeter and her daughter—and
offers a modern update: There's
good news and there's bad news. The
good news is that we humans are poised to leap to a new way of seeing and being
in the world. The
bad news is: Unless we make that leap, we'll perish. We're lost—unless we
spark of revolution in consciousness. I
have a name for that spark. I call her Baubo, the belly goddess… |
